Our Story

Somewhere between the last gas station and the next motel, a dog sticks its head out the window and has the best day of its life. Rumpus is for that dog.

We make plain, useful goods for dogs who ride shotgun, sleep wherever, and have strong opinions about hats. We started with nails: the No. 101 Scratch Board, a wooden board your dog scratches to file down their own nails. When the grit sheet wears smooth, you slide it out of the rail, slide a fresh one in, and keep the board.

About the motel

The Rumpus Motel, the staff in wigs and Room 7 are made up. They're how we like to think about dogs: a little ridiculous and very good company. The goods are real, and so is everything we tell you about them.
